about phi design
At phi design we recognize that the special order (phi) found throughout nature and in things considered to be pleasing to the eye is no accident and believe that it should not be ignored. It is the goal and vision of phi design to capture the beauty and harness the principles of this order in our designs so that through our art others may be made aware of this spectacular phenomenon that is a part of our everyday lives. It is our hope to make each person aware of the one responsible for this order in hopes of leading them to the discovery of His divine order for their lives.
What is phi?
Like many Greek letters, phi represents a mathematical ratio (1.681…). This ratio is evident throughout nature and has been utilized in the past and ancient past to design buildings, monuments and sculptures, which, because of the ratio, exhibit the height of beauty as well as structural integrity, thus earning phi the name "Golden Ratio (or Mean)" - it is the standard of excellence.
How do we implement phi?
We see phi as more of principle than a formula.
Each project presents a unique design challenge, and not every challenge is met with the same solution. While the actual application of the ratio as a formula is sometimes the best solution, occasionally its application can result in an undesirable product.
Therefore, it is our purpose to ensure that (in the "spirit" of phi) every one of our homes is purposefully and carefully designed.
Our commitment to our clients & partners
We have committed to a few operating business basics. We have a commitment to our partners, clients and suppliers to maintain a certain standard of "business minimums" - basic standards for our operation.
1. We provide quality products/services at a fair price.
2. We honor our creditors. We strive to operate as a debt free business as much as is possible.
3. We treat our clients fairly. If we ever fail to meet this promise, call us on it!
4. Most importantly, phi design is a business committed to serving the Lord Jesus Christ in every aspect of operation. If we fail to glorify God, we have failed as a company.
